M22 IPL

M22 IPL utilizes broad-spectrum light pulses to target specific skin imperfections.

How Does M22IPL Work?

What Does M22 IPL
Correct?

M22 IPL, or Intense Pulsed Light, works by delivering high-intensity pulses of broad-spectrum light into the skin. Here's how it works:

  1. Broad-Spectrum Light: M22 IPL emits a range of wavelengths of light, targeting multiple chromophores in the skin. Chromophores are the molecules that absorb light, such as melanin in hair follicles and hemoglobin in blood vessels.

  2. Selective Photothermolysis: This principle involves selectively targeting specific chromophores without damaging surrounding tissue. For example, when targeting hair removal, the melanin in the hair follicles absorbs the light energy, heating up and destroying the hair follicle while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed.

  3. Skin Rejuvenation: In skin rejuvenation treatments, M22 IPL can target melanin and hemoglobin to improve various skin concerns. The light energy heats the targeted cells, stimulating collagen production and promoting skin renewal. This process can help reduce the appearance of sun damage, age spots, freckles, fine lines, and vascular lesions like spider veins and rosacea.

  4. Customized Treatment: M22 IPL treatments can be customized based on the specific skin concerns and skin type of the individual. The device allows for adjustments in the wavelength, pulse duration, and energy level to optimize treatment outcomes while minimizing discomfort and side effects.

  5. Multiple Sessions: Achieving optimal results typically requires a series of M22 IPL sessions spaced several weeks apart. This allows the skin to heal and for new collagen to form, gradually improving the skin's appearance over time.
